I have been interested in and enjoyed drinking tea and coffee for more than 50 years. I have always enjoyed both and I am especially fond of coffee flavored desserts.

For a few years, I was heavily into home coffee roasting and grinding and bought a lot of coffee and tea making equipment.

For a while, after the home roasting interest waned, my favorite coffee maker was the Krups Moka which is a "semi-espresso" machine.

Beginning in May 2010, I started using a Tassimo machine and I basically use it all the time now because I can make a single cup of coffee, tea or hot chocolate at a time.

In December 2010, I got a Keurig machine and, although I like it a lot, my preference is still the Tassimo (details regarding the differences and on the Tea & Coffee Equipment page.

During 2014, I began alternating between the Tassimo and Keurig based upon the availability/price of discs/pods.

I have been interested in the amounts of caffeine in tea and coffee and http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/caffeine/AN01211 (link may be broken) provides information regarding the caffeine content in coffees, teas, sodas, and other foods.
